KATHRYN EWING

Kathryn is an intern at The Marin Foundation. She is excited about the opportunity to come along side The Marin Foundation in their vision. She is particularly eager to encourage evangelicals how to learn from, listen to, and love the GLBT community. Her role involves research on grants, facilitating relationships between GLBT organizations and The Marin foundation, and promoting participation in the Religious Acculturation study. Kathryn is also eager to learn more about developing a theological curriculum that raises both awareness and compassion around the issues of gender in our society.

She is finishing her B.A. in historical theology from Moody Bible Institute in May 2007 and looks forward to using her love of history and theology in a practical way. She hopes to get an M.A. of theology and further study the historical and cultural issues of the church and gender.

Kathryn has been involved in Hispanic ministry in Chicago for a couple years, and is also currently working on a score for a short film that was written, directed, and filmed here in the city and will be finished June 2007.
