DANIEL KWAK

Daniel Kwak has a relentless, unmatched motivation and drive to succeed both personally and professionally. Since Daniel began his relationship with The Marin Foundation in November of 2003, he has continually used his life as an example of strength and perseverance to help shape The Marin Foundation’s existential core. Daniel has significantly influenced The Marin Foundation through his expertise within the realm of theoretical and cognitive thought processes throughout the larger GLBT community. Daniel is also one of the tri-creators of the GLBT Sexual and Spiritual Acculturation Scale (Marin-Riahi-Kwak, 2003) ©, and he is also serving on The Marin Foundation Advisory Board.

Daniel currently works at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as an Interventional Radiographer in Vascular-Interventional Radiology. He is attaining his Masters Degree in Public Service Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, where his area of concentration will be Healthcare Administration.

Daniel received his B.S. in Health Planning and Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he also focused on Community Health. He most recently completed his clinical training in Radiologic Technology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago in August of 2005.

In addition, Daniel serves on the Advisory Committee for the Advocate Illinois Masonic School of Radiologic Technology, and is associated with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the Association of Vascular Interventional Radiographers. In his free time, Daniel enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family in the great City of Chicago!
